What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon. LOL.
Came home from CT, drove back home to Wisconsin and picked up our dog and took him right to the Vet. It would not be a Gassner vacation without some member of the Family going to the ER or the Vet-leave it to our dog to get a surface scratch the day we left and it got infected. Luckily it is only a surface infection, but I googled what it looked like and I was crying all night thinking my dog had everything you can image. So, stupid me, never cleaned the wound after he got scratched on his neck. So that is how I spent my morning, in the vet office and now I just finished all the Disney contests. Thanks for letting me dream this afternoon, I haven’t done that in a long time. 8 grandchildren under the age of 5 and 2 are identical twin boys, did I mention I took Family Leave since January to help the parents and my other son had a baby boy 10 days before the twins were born. Life has been so hectic. And I thought their teenage years were hard. I forgot how hard babies are, yet so easy.
I’m on the opposite side of that right now…. with the girls both away at college things are TOO quiet, which just makes me sad! But at least with Jillian doing the Disney College Program next semester, we will have a legitimate reason to visit Disney!
