Working in online marketing, I get to test and review a lot of companies.
www.theclothingpeople.com is a site where you can upload your images (or use some of theirs to get you started) and have them printed on everything from shirts to hats to headphones. I actually only thought that they did t-shirts, so I am not sure if all of that other cool stuff is recent or I just never noticed it?
As someone who gets a lot of promotional materials for my business printed plus spirit wear for my kids’ school activities, there are three things in particular that I like when actually visit website:
- Design product costs and shipping are included. So many times when you visit a site that does this kind of printing, they will give you a cost per item and then add on the cost for “set up” and shipping after that. Depending on how many items you are having printed and where you live, those additional charges can make the entire project double the cost. When you get your quote on their site, includes everything.
- Low minimums. Another problem with ordering through other sites (particularly t-shirt sites) is that you have to order a lot of one thing. Every one of their products states the minimum right on it, and most of them are lower than anywhere else. In fact, you even click on “no minimum” and see the products you can order with no minimum purchase. Because of that, you can order just 1 or 2 t-shirts if you wan.
- Design lab. Their site features the functionality to be able to see what you are designing and how it will look on the product. This is particularly helpful if you are going to be including different sizes or colors of text and want to know how it will all work together. You can design the whole thing from start to finish without any commitment.
Whether you are looking to order soccer shirts, choir hoodies, or “fun stuff” like frisbees, sunglasses, and ornaments, Custom Ink has a wide variety of products at different cost points. And as I said before, everyone I have talked to who has ordered from them has reported back a terrific customer service experience.
Have you ever used Custom Ink? What was your experience like? Is there another site you like?
