Kmart Big Layaway Giveaway

I know all of my readers are always on the lookout for legitimate, big contests. I have news for you today about the Kmart’s Big Layaway Giveaway that will have you visiting their website and checking your list for what holiday gifts you are going to need this year?

With the economy the way that it has been the last few years, I hear more and more people talking about buying their gifts via free layaway. Layaway is a great way to do your shopping as items become available and then pay them off as Christmas gets closer. Your downpayment is $15 or 10% (whichever is greater). You then have 8 weeks to pay off the merchandise with a payment every 2 weeks. One of my favorite things about the Kmart layway plan is that you can actually do your shopping online and still take advantage of layway. It’s so much easier to compare prices and make sure you have purchased equally for each kid when you can do so at your own computer with a pen and paper in front of you. Here’s a breakdown of some of the differences between Kmart’s layway policy and that of other stores like Walmart, Best Buy, and Toys R Us.

So now onto the actual Big Layaway Giveaway. There is one layaway giveaway per store per week every week from 9/9/12 through 11/17/12. Twelve thousand four hundred twenty (12,420) winners!! That means you need to get entered now to have the most chances at winning. You can win your layaway balance up to $500. And remember that you can enter by using layway online or in the store. What kinds of things would I put on layaway at Kmart for my family? A huge number of my items would be part of the Dream Out Loud collection by Selena Gomez. My 11-year-old absolutely love Selena Gomez and the Kmart is the only place to get her clothing line. We make special trips there just for the clothes. With over 50 items in that collection alone, I could pretty outfit Jillian completely for school. I would absolutely love to win her an entire Dream Out Loud wardrobe in the Giveaway!
