Kroger Buy 5 – Save $5 Event (and Giveaway!)

My favorite giveaways are the ones where I use the products myself. Because of that, I am excited to be giving away a $25 Kroger gift card today in celebration of their Buy 5 – Save $5 Event.

I’m a Kroger shopper and look every week at their deals while I am making my shopping list. We eat a lot of General Mills foods in my house, so this deal is perfect for us. When you buy 5 participating General Mills products in one purchase between October 14-24, you will receive a $5 coupon off of your next order.

The products do vary by location, but some of the brands you can expect to see include Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Pillsbury Toaster Strudel, Betty Crocker Cake and Brownie Mixes, Hamburger Helper, Totino’s Party Pizza, and Yoplait.

And don’t forget that even if you do not have a Kroger, you may have a store in your area that is part of the Kroger family, which includes Ralphs, King Scoopers, City Market, Dillons, Smith’s, Fry’s, QFC, Baker’s, Owen’s, Jay C Food Stores, Hilander, Gerbes, Fred Meyer, Pay Less Supermarkets and Scott’s Food & Pharmacy.

My girls have really been into Pillsbury Toaster Strudel’s lately. It’s the strangest thing. They tried them once when they were toddlers and didn’t really like them. But then they tried them again about 3 months ago and now they want them all the time. I love when I can get a good deal on them and stock up. I also always stock up on the Totino’s Party Pizzas because I never know when we might have extra hungry kids at the house.
