Normally I write about free Amazon Video Credits that I happen to find on my Fire Stick, but today I found something else worth looking out for!
If you come across an advertisement screen that says “Press Play for L.A.,” it is a charitable opportunity.
You can stream select Amazon Prime Videos or Amazon Music and Amazon will donate $1 for each hour streamed to the American Red Cross to support people impacted by the California wildfires.
It only includes select videos and music from February 14-28, 2025, but it’s a pretty decent selection. The Amazon Music playlist is called “Listen to LA.” Movies and shows include:
- The LEGO Movie
- Horrible Bosses
- Fleabag
- We Are Your Friends
- The Last Samurai
- Cruel Intentions
- Alex & Emma
- The Summer I Turned Pretty
- Kung Fu Panda
- The Majestic
- The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
- With Love
- Making the Cut
- Focus
- IMAX NASCAR
